Derby County have completed the signing of Tranmere Rovers' out-of-contract winger Steve Davies.
The 20-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Rams, having also been a transfer target for Leeds United this summer.
Davies is already the seventh new arrival at Pride Park since the end of last season, following the captures of Ruben Zadkovich, Paul Connolly, Nathan Ellington, Jordan Stewart, Paul Green and Kris Commons.
Rams chairman of football Adam Pearson recently said: "Davies is on a Bosman, but he's also under 24 so it would go to tribunal if we don't come to an agreement.
"We probably would be just as happy for it to go to tribunal to secure him."
Davies, who only recently recovered from a serious knee injury, scored five goals in 71 appearances during his time at Prenton Park.
