Derby County have completed the signing of former Rangers defender Bob Malcolm on a two-year contract. Malcolm, 25, was a free agent after leaving the Gers just before last week's transfer deadline. He made 88 SPL appearances for the Glasgow giants after coming through the youth team ranks at Ibrox, having made his debut in April 2000 in the 3-0 win over Dundee United. Rams boss Billy Davies told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have Bob here. "He's a player that will bring a bit of quality to our squad and he has vast experience of playing at a great club like Rangers. "I'm looking forward to seeing Bob getting involved in the Championship."
