Rams resolve bonus issue

Derby County have resolved a disagreement with their players over potential promotion bonuses following help from the Professional Footballers' Association.
The Rams are currently top of the Championship table but the PFA were called in to help resolve an issue over bonus payments paid to the players should they reach the Premiership.
"I'm delighted this point has been resolved and pleased everyone is happy with the outcome," said Rams boss Billy Davies.
"But even through it all our focus was on the football, and you can see we are currently top of the league.
"This was only ever a player-related issue and there will be pro-rata payments across the board if we are successful at the end of the season, provided the players have participated in the games."
