Derby County have broken their club record transfer fee paid in snapping up Wales international striker Robert Earnshaw for £3.5million from Norwich City.
The 26-year-old former West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City frontman has penned a three-year contract at Pride Park, becoming the Rams' first capture since they won promotion back to the Premier League.
Boss Billy Davies told the club's official website: "We are delighted to have a new striker on board with a fantastic track record in terms of goals scored at every level he has played, including the Premier League and internationals.
"Robert is a fantastic addition to the squad and I'm sure the fans will be excited that we have a new fox in the box for the new season."
Earnshaw made his name during a seven-year stay with Cardiff, before moving to The Hawthorns in the summer of 2004 for £3million.
In January 2006 he moved on to East Anglia, joining Norwich for £.5million.
In total he has scored 126 goals in 269 career league appearances, as well as netting 12 times in 34 appearances for Wales.
