Rams plan Barnes appeal

Derby County boss Billy Davies has confirmed that he will be appealing against Giles Barnes' red card in the 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who came on as a substitute for the injured Ryan Smith at Hillsborough, was given a straight red for a late tackle on Owls defender Graham Coughlan.
However, after viewing the incident on video on Sunday, Davies felt the referee's decision was harsh.
"We will certainly appeal," he said.
"The view of Giles and our dressing room is that it was simply his momentum and nothing more than that.
"On looking at it again, I think that's right. He was only going to retrieve the ball and it was clumsy more than anything else.
"Giles is an enthusiastic young player who is learning. He is not a nasty player."
If the appeal fails Barnes will miss the clash with Southend at Pride Park and the trips to Plymouth and QPR.
