Derby County will be without Benny Feilhaber and Mika Vayrynen for Wednesday's Premier League clash against Portsmouth as the club are still waiting for the duo to receive international clearance.
The Rams have been granted a work permit for American Feilhaber who plays for SV Hamburg in Germany.
PSV Eindhoven's Finnish midfielder Vayrynen had a medical at Pride Park over the weekend, but no deal has yet been finalised.
Meanwhile, the club have distanced themselves from reports linking them with Polish striker Radoslaw Matusiak.
The Palermo star was quoted in Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza as saying: "My manager is dealing with the matter and he has informed me that Derby County have tabled a concrete offer."
