Pearson cools Rams link

Former Hull City chairman Adam Pearson has denied speculation linking him with a takeover bid for Derby County.
A Sunday newspaper suggested Pearson was lining up a £90million offer for the Premier League strugglers, but he has moved quickly to deny the story.
He told the Derby Evening Telegraph: "If I say anything it will just give credence to it and I'm just not prepared to comment, I'm sorry I cannot be more helpful.
"If I commented every time somebody put something in the paper about us buying a club at the minute, I'd be on the phone all day.
"We've been linked with a number of clubs and it's just ridiculous."
Earlier this month the Rams described a newspaper claim that they had rejected a £20million offer from a mystery UK consortium and another consortium was considering a bid of £30million as "absolute nonsense".
Pearson sold Hull City in June 2007 and severed all ties with the Championship club one month later.
