McEveley ruled out for the season

Derby County defender Jay McEveley has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in his foot.The left-back suffered the injury in the victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and scans have confirmed a broken metatarsal in his left foot. "It's a big blow," said boss Nigel Clough. "We are short of defenders and Jay has been playing extremely well."
