Jewell fears the worst

Derby County manager Paul Jewell admits his side lacks quality after watching them slump to a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough at Pride Park.
The Rams are now eight points away from safety after losing their seventh consecutive match and already look certain to be making an immediate return to the Championship.
Jewell fears the worst and admitted after County's latest defeat: "It's tough when you're at the bottom of the league.
"But in the three games since I've been here, and that's all I can judge the players on, they certainly haven't lacked in effort.
"We are, though, lacking in quality in all areas, and that's not a slight on the players, that's a fact because the league table tells you that.
"We now need a remarkable upturn in form over the second half of the season if we're going to get out of this, and hopefully we can get more players in to help those already here.
"So yes, while I'm disappointed to lose at home and not score a goal, it's not as if I've all of a sudden realised we're not the best team in the world, I knew that before I got here."
