Derby County's summer signing Andy Todd is still struggling to shrug off back and hamstring injuries which have hampered the start of his time with the Rams.
The 33-year-old centre-half has not featured for Derby since the start of September and is set to see a specialist to try and cure his nagging injuries.
Manager Billy Davies told the Evening Telegraph: "Andy is complaining about his back and hamstring and he is seeing a specialist, who is coming in and doing some extra work with him at the moment.
"Andy looks uncomfortable and feels uncomfortable. Until we get that right, we will just have to keep working with him and hope we will eventually get it sorted."
Meanwhile, Davies is hoping that youngster Giles Barnes will have a big impact in the coming weeks, after struggling with a foot injury for the whole of the season to date.
"He's had enough minutes on the pitch and showed at Fulham he can provide pace, power and a goal threat," Davies added.
"Your eyes are your judge and he has been looking sharper and brighter in training. He's very much in my thoughts and can be a key player for us this season."
