Hunt extends Rams loan spell

Derby County have confirmed that Bolton Wanderers full-backNicky Huntwill remain on loan at Pride Park for the remainder of the season.

A deal was struck on Monday and the defender was only too happy to extend his stay under boss Nigel Clough.

He joined at the start of January and has impressed in his three appearances to date.

Clough said: "Nicky has been tremendous for us so far and we're delighted he is staying on.

"With the more games he plays he will only get better."

Hunt found his first-team options with the Trotters limited and he is pleased he has tied up a deal until the season's end.

Hunt added: "I've really enjoyed myself at Derby and I'm pleased to be staying longer.

"I just love playing football. I've not played too much over the last year or so and coming here has been a new lease of life for me."
