Paul Jewell's massive overhaul of the Derby County squad has continued with the capture of Sheffield United striker Rob Hulse in a £1.75million deal.
The 29-year-old, who has penned a three-year contract with the Rams, is Jewell's tenth capture of the summer.
The County boss told the club's official website "This is a terrific capture for us and I'm really excited to have added a player of Rob Hulse's calibre to our squad.
"Rob's a player I've admired for a very long time and tried to sign on more than one occasion in the past. He has tremendous attributes as a forward. He's strong, brave, athletic and an eye for goal.
"His attitude is also first-class and he's hungry to return to the highest level and to do it with Derby County.
"It barely took any persuading to get Rob to join Derby County. He knows this is a huge club with great ambition and his ambition and desire matches ours."
Hulse began his career with Crewe Alexandra and also played for West Brom and Leeds United before moving to Sheffield United for £2.2million two years ago.
