Hughes can't wait to get going

Derby County new boy Bryan Hughes will go straight into the squad ahead of Saturday's live televised Championship encounter against Queens Park Rangers. The Hull City midfielder has fallen out of favour at KC Stadium and has joined the Rams on an initial one-month loan period. He can also count Charlton Athletic, Birmingham City and Wrexham as his former clubs and he is excited at the prospect of turning out for the Pride Park side. Speaking to reporters, he said: "I can't wait to pull on a Derby shirt. "I got a call on Wednesday night to say Derby were interested in taking me on loan and I didn't have to think twice about coming here. "I've not been involved at Hull all this season, so I've been looking to get out on loan and I believe this is a great opportunity to get out and play some football."
