Eustace bolsters Rams ranks

Derby County have snapped up Watford midfielder John Eustace on loan until the end of the season.

The combative 29-year-old had drifted out of the first-team picture at Vicarage Road, having not featured for the Hornets since a 2-1 home win over Norwich City in mid-December.

Eustace only joined Watford in January last year, having spent well over four years with Stoke City.

The former Coventry City schemer has scored twice in 32 appearances for the Hornets.

Rams boss Nigel Clough was eager to draft in a new face with Paul Green, Stephen Pearson and Miles Addison all currently sidelined by injuries.
