Ellington seeks Albion talks

West Bromwich Albion striker Nathan Ellington has vowed to do his best for the Baggies should manager Tony Mowbray want to keep him at The Hawthorns.
Ellington was expected to leave the Championship club and return to former side Wigan Athletic only for a transfer window move to stall over the fee involved.
Now the seven-goal striker has vowed to do his best for Albion after seeking talks over his future with Mowbray.
"I felt I was going, it's not happened and I'm still a West Brom player and I've got to do my job," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"I will carry on doing my best and hopefully I will have a meeting with the manager soon to find out what he thinks of me and what he thinks I can do for the club in the future.
"If it's positive we can talk about things, but if it's not as positive as I'd like, then I would probably like to move on at a point to get regular football."
