Derby County striker Nathan Ellington is desperate to regain top form and help fire the Rams back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
The 26-year-old has moved to Pride Park on an initial season-long loan from Watford, having endured a torrid time with the Hornets last term.
Ellington told the Evening Telegraph: "This year has been the worst I've had as a footballer.
"My goal ratio at West Brom was still pretty good, even though I was in and out of the team. It was just when I was at Watford and I wasn't playing in the side that I couldn't score.
"It's frustrating when you're not playing, because you know you can do so much better.
"When you're not playing, people start to question whether you're the same player. But I know I'll score goals. I know if I'm given a chance, I'll find the net."
