Derby County manager Billy Davies has played down his side's chances of promotion despite the Rams remaining six points clear at the top of the table following Saturday's 1-0 win at Southampton.
County continue to exceed expectations at the top of the Championship, but Davies has warned the club's fans not to be carried away after their eighth consecutive victory in all competitions.
"There are 15 games left and a lot of points to play for, but this (the victory at Southampton) is a massive result when you look at how well Southampton have been doing at home," he said.
"We knew it would take two or three seasons to get the right people in and make this club a very good side.
"This season was always about trying to find some stability and for us to finish as high as we could.
"If we get to mid-April and we are still up there I will start to get excited."
