Derby County boss Billy Davies remains confident that recent signing Benny Feilhaber will prove to be a success at Pride Park.
The 22-year-old American has struggled to make his mark since moving to England from SV Hamburg, but Davies is confident that Feilhaber has the class to succeed in the Premier League.
He told the Evening Telegraph: "We know he is good with the ball, we know what he is all about but he is a young lad.
"We identified him as a project, if you like. A young player who is emerging on the international scene, a young player full of attributes and a player we can improve.
"Now we have to be patient, work with him on the training ground and give him time to settle in."
