Derby County have extended the loan stay of Darren Currie meaning the experienced winger is free to play in their play-off campaign. Currie, 32, has made seven appearances since moving to Pride Park from Ipswich Town in March. The former Shrewsbury Town and Wycombe Wanderers wideman scored his first goal for the Rams in last weekend's 2-0 victory over Leeds United. Currie will now stay at Derby until the end of May and is eligible to face Southampton in Saturday's first leg of their play-off semi-final.
