County extend Barazite loan

Derby County have been boosted by the news that loan midfielder Nacer Barazite will remain at Pride Park until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old Dutchman has made 19 appearances for the Rams to date and has shown up well despite their dismal run of form in the Championship.

Caretaker boss Chris Hutchings told the club's official website: "It is a big boost to have secured Nacer's services for the rest of the season, including the cup matches.

"He is a fantastic talent and has applied himself well since he has been here.

"We are grateful to Arsenal for extending the loan. I think they know he is in very good hands here, at a first-class club."
