Derby County winger Kris Commons will be sidelined until the second half of the month with a calf strain.

The 25-year-old Scotland international has not played since last month's 3-1 victory at Nottingham Forest.

Rams boss Nigel Clough said: "He gives us something a little bit different, but we've got three other strikers as well, so they'll have to pitch in."

Meanwhile, Clough fears that Miles Addison's season is over after the 20-year-old suffered a foot injury in the 4-1 home win against Blackpool.

"It's a pessimistic diagnosis at the minute, so we'll wait for confirmation but he's still hobbling about," he added.
