Derby County boss Nigel Clough thought a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup fourth round encounter with Nottingham Forest was a fair result.
Clough accepts that a replay will not help his side's fixture pile-up but is pleased still to be in the competition.
He said: "Maybe it was about fair on the balance of play. We dominated the first half but didn't get going in the second half and it was probably our undoing.
"We had some very good chances in the last few minutes but their keeper made some very good saves.
"A yard either side of him and he doesn't get them so it's a very fine line between us going through and having a replay.
"A replay isn't ideal as we now have to rearrange another league fixture, which I think is Blackpool at home, and we also have the Cardiff away game that was postponed earlier this month to fit in at some stage as well.
"But we'd rather have the replay than be out of the competition."
