Clough agrees to Connolly loan

Derby County manager Nigel Clough has allowed defender Paul Connolly to join Championship rivals Sheffield United on a month's loan.

The 26-year-old right-back has not featured for the Rams since the game against Scunthorpe United more than two months ago.

Meanwhile, Miles Addison will travel to America next week to undergo surgery on his troublesome foot injury.

The England Under-21 international has made just six appearances since September because of the problem.
