Chief slams County report

Derby County chairman Adam Pearson has hit out at reports suggesting he is in talks with a consortium led by a member of the Disney family.
Pearson refused to confirm whether reports linking Roy Disney - nephew of Walt - with a possible investment in the Rams were accurate, but has slammed a newspaper headline branding Derby a 'Mickey Mouse club'.
"This morning's headline is disappointing and does not reflect well on Derby County," he told the club's official website.
"I stressed when I took on the chairmanship that I would not engage in media speculation with regard to investment and I will restate again here that I won't be saying anything until a deal is done.
"At that stage, the fans of Derby County will be the first to know."
However, Pearson, who replaced former chairman Peter Gadsby at Pride Park last month, continues to seek further investment in the club from the USA and Far East.
