Update on the state of the pitch from the Valley Ground

Urgent preparations for todays game are underway to try and insure that the game goes ahead as normal at 3.00pm.

An appeal for Charlton fans to help the ground staff fork the pitch has gone out but the game is very much in the balance as further heavy rain has been forcast.

After the 9.00am pitch inspection the game is provisionally on at the moment (as of 9.22am) further updates will be available during this morning on the official twitter page of Derby County https://twitter.com/dcfcofficial ....
