Derby County have allowed injury-jinxed forward Giles Barnes to leave the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The 21-year-old is free to find a new club in the January transfer window, after scoring 13 goals in 95 appearances for the Rams in all competitions.
Manager Nigel Clough told the club's official website: "We have been in discussions with Giles for a few weeks now and we believe it is in the interests of both the player and the club that he moves on to pursue a new challenge.
"It is unfortunate that his Derby County career has been hampered by injury for the past two years, but Giles is a determined character and we all wish him well in the future."
Barnes spent several months on loan at Fulham last season, but injuries prevented him from making a first-team appearance for the Cottagers.
