Rams Captain and now media pundit Robbie Savage has won a national award for his work on Five Live's 606 programme Robbie Savage wins national Radio awardRobbie Savage may not be everyone's cup of tea whilst on the pitch, his tough tackling uncompromising approach has earned him boos from many of the nations football supporters, but he has now been honoured for his hosting prowess on the Radio 5 live 606 show.The radio programme, which starts at 6.06pm every Saturday has been hosted by Savage this season and he has been honoured by the 'Best National Radio Programme' award.The award was given in recognition of Robbie's tough no nonsense approach, similar to his on-field activities.Savage said it was a "Great Honour". He went on to say he loves Radio work and was "overwhelmed that a boy from Wrexham could win this award".Savage was not playing for the Rams in yesterday's 2-0 defeat to Bristol City because of an ankle injury...
