The left-back, who was injured during the 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on October 20, could wear a protective mask when the Rams host their Midlands rivals at Pride Park on Friday night.[LNB]"Jay has had a mask fitted. He doesn't look particularly good but he didn't before the mask!" joked Derby manager Nigel Clough.[LNB]"He will join in training in the early part of this week but it will be a case of wrapping him in cotton wool."[LNB]McEveley is one of four players, along with fellow defender Dean Leacock, midfielder Paul Green and striker Rob Hulse, in line to return against the Sky Blues.[LNB]Derby had 16 players missing through injury against Ipswich at the weekend and considered a request to the Football League to have the game postponed.[LNB][LNB]
