Nigel Clough was impressed by John Rooney during training in his first week with Derby County but wants a second view before a decision is made on his future at Derby County John Rooney, wanted for a second week of training and a reserve team game before any decision is made on his future as a Rams playerDerby County are hoping to take John Rooney for a second week of training and assessment next week.The nineteen year-old has impressed during this weeks spell with the Rams but a planned reserve team game against Sheffield United had to be postponed due to bad weather. Nigel Clough would have liked to have seen Rooney in action rather than training and will not commit to any decision on bringing the Midfield/Striker to Derby on a permanent basis beforehand.Clough is currently negotiating a second week to assess how Rooney will fit in with the Rams. If the trial game goes well it is thought Rooney could be a squad member before the start of next season at Derby...
