Rams set to lose keepers

Derby County look set to move on at least two goalkeepers after signing Lee Grant

Rams manager Nigel Clough has indicated that one or possibly both Adam Ledzkins and Frank Fielding could move on from the club following the return of Lee Grant.

Clough has told the press that Grant will certainly be in the number one shirt next season and as both the other keepers want first team football, it looks certain that they will be moved on.

The Rams may also be looking to reduce the wage bill yet again for the squad, but as Grant was one of the top wage earners at Burnley it looks as though we have a need to thin the ranks of the goalkeeping fraternity.

Meanwhile Chris Martin looks to be the Rams Rams next free transfer target, when his contract with Norwich runs out at the end of the season. Martin has impressed Nigel Clough in the last few months with the club. He sees the link-up work with Jamie Ward one of the things he would like to concentrate on for next season...
