Derby County arw to offer Daniel Lafferty a trial. The former Northern Irish U21 International had been linked with Sunderland but it is thought their interest has wained.
Lafferty (22) was on the books of Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Celtic but didn't play in the first team. Last season he had 14 games for Ayr United in the Scottish league.
He is presently back home in Ireland playing his games for Derry City, where he has been having rave reviews this season and also scoring five goals...
