Rams new boy straining at the leash
The midfielder has been out of favour at Premier League Hull this season and completed his move to Pride Park on Thursday, in time to feature in Saturday evening's televised clash with QPR.
He told the Rams' official website: "I've not been involved at all this season at Hull, so I've been looking to get out on loan and I believe this is a great opportunity to get out and play some football.
"I've missed it this year, especially working hard all week and, when it comes to a matchday, not being involved.
"The fan-base at Derby County is phenomenal and another massive attraction, to get 30,000 fans is fantastic. I can't wait to play at Pride Park on Saturday and hopefully I can play a part in Derby climbing the table."
