Ben Davies missed a late opportunity to draw the Rams level last night in the latest of pre-season friendly games as he misseda last minute penalty.
Derby understandably played with many of the young up and coming players at the Academy but also included James Bailey, Conor Doyle and Ben Davies with Championship experience but Belper Town were worth their victory according to some of the 850 people attending.
The Rams were keeping most of their senior players for this evenings pre-season clash with Premiership Sunderland but nothing could be taken away from a battling Nailers performance.
