The Rams are in the midst of a mini injury crisis in defensive positions.
Gareth Roberts has added to the defensive woes after being sent off in midweek at Hull City. His three game ban is on top of injuries to Mark O'Brien (left), who is being given four weeks off to totally recover from a knee injury, which has caused him pain during recent matches.
If you add season long injuries to Shaun Barker and this leaves the Rams very short in defensive cover for the near future.
No positive targets have yet been mentioned but if the Rams have any hopes of finishing in the top half of the table a loan will have to be made sooner rather than later...
