Derby County may be about to bring back Blackburn keeper Frank Fielding Frank Fielding aking a return to Pride Park ?Reports in the media tonight of the return of Frank Fielding. The England U21 goalkeeper has spent time this season on loan with the Rams and Derby experienced a purple patch of results during his stay.Clough now desperate to bolster the Rams squad with emergency loan signings since unproductive January transfer window sees Fielding as the first of several playrs he hopes to bring in. His main priority though remains a striker and possible midfield play-maker to replace Kris Commons.Tom Glick had promised to 'pounce' once the emergency transfer window opened and there was talk of two players being brought into the squad for the televised game on Saturday.Fans remain divided after they have seen two top goal scorers leave the the club this season without being replaced. Some are angered at what they see as the lack of ambition of the club and its investors, whilst others stay loyal to Nigel Clough and his ability to steer the club out of trouble despite the insistance of the clubs owners that wages need to be reduced further.Saturday's East Midlands derby against local rivals Leicester City is seen by some as must win game for Clough and the club, as the club slides further down the Championship table.A loss to the Foxes may see more protests against the current board and owners of Derby County football club, indeed there have been calls for a protest prior to the 5-20pm game.So maybe bringing Frank Fielding back may go some way to placating the anger now being felt at the depleted Rams side and the continued poor results...
