Rams boss rues long injury list
The Rams boss lost Jay McEveley for County's remaining four Championship games this week after the 23-year-old left-back broke a bone in his foot against Wolves on Bank Holiday Monday.
McEveley joins Paul Green, Steve Davies and Miles Addison in being sidelined with similar injuries recently, while Jordan Stewart has not featured since mid-February and Chris Porter has been absent since the start of March.
"It is quite incredible how many people are out," said Clough. "I have never known a run of injuries like this. Injuries have kicked in, certainly in the last month or so.
"I think it's just bad luck. There has been such a variety of injuries and in different circumstances, I think it's the only thing you can put it down to."
