Rams boss rues injury crisis

The Rams arrived at Middlesbrough with an injury list in double figures and left Teesside with further problems after Jay McEveley and Kris Commons were forced off inside the opening 20 minutes of their 2-0 defeat. Defender McEveley suffered a fractured cheekbone in making a tackle and could be out for between six to eight weeks. Commons pulled up with a hamstring strain - an injury that has troubled the Scotland international forward for much of the season. Both players are out of Derby's home game against QPR on Saturday. Asked how much the injuries disrupted his team, Clough quipped: "Which ones? The two that went off or the other 15? "Of our 10 outfield players, arguably six would not have started if we had a fully-fit squad. That is a fair chunk out of any side."
