Clough watched as Buijs played in his side's 3-0 defeat at NAC Breda.[LNB]Buijs, a right-back who can also play in midfield, was at Pride Park on Saturday as Derby took a giant step towards securing their Championship status with a 1-0 win over Midlands rivals Leicester.[LNB]County coach Johnny Metgod believes Buijs would be an asset to the club and said: "I worked with him at Feyenoord. He is a player with a lot of determination and his work-rate is unbelievable. Every game he plays he gives it everything he has got.[LNB]"He has a good energy rate, likes to go forward, gets the odd goal, is good at set-pieces and has a long throw-in.[LNB]"He is a good player who can do a good job here.
