Rams add Metgod to coaching staff

Metgod has been out of work since leaving Fratton Park in February following the sacking of Tony Adams. The Dutchman will be involved in coaching the first team and the Academy as well as undertaking scouting duties. Metgod played alongside Rams boss Nigel Clough during their time together at Nottingham Forest. And Clough believes Metgod will prove a good addition, saying: "This is an excellent appointment for us and a fantastic addition to the coaching set-up. "Johnny has played at the highest level and coached at the highest level and his knowledge of the game is second to none. "He also possesses an infectious enthusiasm. "Johnny won't have a specific role. I want to use his talents in a number of areas. "He will assist with coaching the first team, the Academy and also get involved with the scouting process. I believe we now have a first-class coaching set-up throughout the club as we prepare for the new season."
