Porter set to revisit specialist

Derby striker Chris Porter will return to a specialist about his troublesome hip injury. The 26-year-old continues to be blighted by the problem that kept him out for 10 months last year and has not featured in the Rams' last four matches. Porter, who was Nigel Clough`s first signing when he arrived from Motherwell for £400,000 in January 2009, will revisit the surgeon who operated on his hip a year ago. "He keeps trying to step it up but the hip becomes sore and he has to leave it for a couple of days," said Clough. "He is going to see the specialist who operated on him because everybody we see gives a different opinion on what the problem is. We need to get to the bottom of it and get it sorted out. "There is a concern when we can't see an end to it. We can't seem to get anybody to say "this is it, and it'll be two months or whatever' and so a plan of action is proving difficult." Porter has made only 18 starts since moving to Pride Park.
