Palace's Davis deal on back burner
However, Warnock insists that any deal to sign the Jamaica international will be put on the back burner until he has strengthened his striking options.
Derby are willing to let Davis, who spent the last three months of the season on loan at Selhurst Park, leave the club this summer.
But Warnock told the Croydon Guardian: "We won't be doing anything with Davis until we have got some strikers signed on."
