On-loan midfielder out to impress
The performance of the 19-year-old was one of the Rams' few bright points in Saturday's loss at Sheffield United, as the midfielder scored on his Derby debut having come on as a half-time substitute.
And Bannan is excited at the chance to develop his game in the Championship.
"I like to get my foot on the ball, pass it and dictate the game," he told the Derby Telegraph.
"This is a massive experience for me.
"I was delighted when I found out I would be playing in the Championship, because I don't think there is any better place to learn."
