No Rams rush for Miles

Derby have reiterated they will not rush Miles Addison back into action by withdrawing the big defender from a reserve-team fixture. Addison was in the squad to face Sheffield Wednesday at Stocksbridge on Tuesday but missed the game as a precautionary measure. The 21-year-old is recovering after undergoing an operation on his right foot in March, and Rams boss Nigel Clough was keen to point out that his player had not suffered a setback in his rehabilitation. "Miles was set to be on the bench but he reported to the medical team that he felt a little bit sore after training so for the sake of a week or so, we did not risk him," said Clough. "He will have a good week's training instead. "It is important to stress he has not suffered a setback, it is just that the game hasn't fallen at the right time for him. "He is way ahead of schedule and he has worked as hard as any player we have seen with his rehabilitation. That is why we don't want to rush him now. The last thing we want is a setback."
