The 24-year-old`s initial month-long stay at Pride Park ended following the Championship defeat at Millwall last weekend.
Derby agreed a deal in principle to extend Moore`s loan prior to the game against the Lions. That has now been finalised and the player will remain with Nigel Clough`s side until November 20.
"I am delighted to extend my stay because I have really enjoyed it at Derby," Moore told the club`s official website.
"It has ben perfect coming here. I have played some games and got my name on the scoresheet as well so I hope the second month goes well too."
Moore has scored one goal in six appearances for the Rams, opening the scoring in a 3-2 victory at Doncaster 10 days ago.
