Metgod won't lie back and savour the joy of six

Coach Johnny Metgod insists Derby will keep their feet on the ground despite registering a record sixth consecutive win at Pride Park with a 3-2 success over Scunthorpe. A third-minute Tomasz Cwyka goal, a Kris Commons penalty and a Luke Moore strike won the match for the Rams who had a nervy last 15 minutes as Gareth Roberts was sent off for two bookings and Michael O'Connor's penalty brought the Iron to within one goal. Metgod said: "The next home game we will have to work probably harder and play even better and over longer periods to try and get the same result. "I haven't got a lot of hair left but not one hair on top of my head is thinking of us as promotion contenders, no way in the world. "After 18 games we are absolutely delighted with the development we have made over the last eight or nine months but my two feet are firmly on the ground. "I won't be getting carried away but if we are in this position on the eighth of May then you can ask me that question."
