Metgod backs Rams to deliver

The Rams head into their game against Middlesbrough on the back of four defeats in the last five matches, and when they have required a pick-me-up at home this season the players have often delivered.[LNB]Derby beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in October only days after a 6-1 thrashing at Cardiff. Three consecutive defeats later that month was followed by another home win over Coventry, and their response to losing at Swansea in November was to beat Reading.[LNB]County have also beaten Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Preston and Watford at Pride Park in the last six weeks.[LNB]Rams coach Metgod said: "We are looking for a reaction. Reading and Doncaster away were not the performances we wanted. We made it very hard for ourselves and very easy for the opposition.[LNB]"We are in a difficult position but the past has shown that whenever the pressure has been on, then certainly at home with the support of the crowd, we have been able to get the result we want.[LNB]"I can't see any reason why we can't get another positive result against Middlesbrough."[LNB][LNB]
