McParland rubbishes transfer talk
The ambitious League Two club, who this week completed the shock signing of former England international centre-half Sol Campbell on a five-year deal, have been linked with a £250,000 swoop for left-back Stewart.
However, McParland dismissed the suggestion out of hand and said: "It's absolute nonsense."
The Scot also went on to state he was not interested in signing United striker Sharp.
County have been linked with the 23-year-old for some time and were reported to be preparing a £1.5million offer for the player, who has been out of favour at Bramall Lane so far this season.
