McEveley set for reserve outing
The 24-year-old will wear a protective mask when the Rams' second string face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Wednesday afternoon.[LNB]McEveley sustained the injury in the league defeat at Middlesbrough on October 20.[LNB]He then suffered a major scare on the operating table when his heart stopped for two minutes during the procedure to correct the facial disfigurement.[LNB]The left-back, with his mask at the ready, was an unused substitute during the Championship victory over Coventry at the weekend.[LNB]He will not fly out with the rest of the squad on Thursday for the friendly against Dutch side Den Haag because his fiance is due to give birth shortly.[LNB][LNB]
