Steve only taking over the club in May of last year, following his Dutch title win with FC Twente the previous season.McClaren may interest the Rams American owners having been manager of the National side for a while before ultimately failing to take England to Euro 2008, being relieved of his pot in November 2007.Returning to manage in the Premiership may be McClaren's ultimate goal but the prestige of having a former England manager taking charge of the team may be a feather in the cap of the Rams American owners, who my be prepared to push the boat out a little to bring former Rams player and manager McClaren back to Derby.Who knows, stranger things have happened at Pride Park in recent times.............watch this space...!
