Keeper deal on cards
Derby have agreed a deal with an unnamed Premier League club to sign a goalkeeper on loan.
Injuries this week to first-choice stopper Stephen Bywater and his understudy Saul Deeney have left the Rams with inexperienced youngsters James Severn and Ross Atkins, who has been recalled from a loan spell at Tamworth, as the only keepers on their books.
The deal will not be completed until Friday but Derby are confident that the player - rumoured to be Blackburn`s Frank Fielding - will be able to be included in the squad that travels to Sheffield United the following day.
